Summary Briefing 45th Green Climate Fund Board Meeting

29 June - 2 July 2026

From 29th June to 2nd July 2026, the Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) convened for its 45th meeting in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting’s agenda focussed on the arrangements for the third formal replenishment of the GCF; updated country ownership guidelines; a revised policy on fees, and a revised commitment authority methodology. Furthermore, the Board considered the approval of ten funding proposals (requesting 369.1 million USD in GCF funding) and the accreditation of nine new entities.
